We are hiring a 2026 Order Fulfillment Summer Intern to partner with our Dealers and Field Sales!

What you will be doing:

• You'll develop an understanding of the Steelcase order fulfillment value stream, and optimize supply chain, manufacturing, and delivery efficiencies, resulting in a great customer experience  
• You will be supporting systematic tasks within a variety of order fulfillment groups
• You will be collaborating cross functionally across Operations and with other interns to identify opportunities and make process improvement suggestions
• You’ll be working on strategic projects to create new processes or enhance existing ones
• You will have the opportunity to lead meetings, present in front of leaders, and develop/improve professional skills

Degree Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at a nationally accredited program.
• Actively enrolled in a degree seeking program at the time of application and throughout the duration of the internship or co-op position.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree focused on supply chain, logistics, applied engineering, business, business analytics, or other related majors. 
• Preferred academic standing for this position: December 2026 Graduates – May 2027 Graduates
  
  

Work Authorization/Sponsorship

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The company will not offer sponsorships or work visas now or in the future for this role.  

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Reliable transportation to and from the office is recommended, many of our sites do not have access to public transportation
• Requires an ability to understand and communicate complex technology, both in writing and verbally
• Basic knowledge of order fulfillment procedures 
• Customer service skills 
• Able to exercise good judgement on policy, timing and problem solving
• Excellent communication is a must; able to converse and offer suggestions, information and alternatives to customers needs
• Able to effectively make formal presentations to dealers, designers and customers as needed
