Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine setup procedures.
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Load and unload parts, deburr, and inspect finished components for conformity to specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and various material properties.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and identify common operational issues.
• Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for program editing and optimization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software for fixture design or part modification.
• Proficiency in operating and interpreting CMM reports for quality inspection.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced G-code editing and optimization capabilities.
