We are hiring a Process Chemistry Technician to support our automotive production processes.
A day in the lifeYou arrive to the lab and production floor ready to keep processes on track. You sample process baths tied to automotive manufacturing steps, measure concentrations, and record results so operations stay within control limits. You translate those data into clear charts and graphs for the team. Along the way, you collaborate with teammates to sustain efficient, effective production. When parts need a second pass, you handle rework that includes deburring and derusting. You also evaluate cleaning chemicals. In the afternoon, you take on project work and research guided by our Chemist.
What you will do- Monitor, evaluate, and analyze chemicals used in automotive production processes to support effective, efficient output.
- Measure, record, analyze, and maintain chemical concentration requirements that underpin operational control.
- Report chemical concentrations accurately using charts and graphs.
- Conduct project work and research under the direction of the Chemist.
- Process parts requiring rework, including deburring and derusting.
- Assess and evaluate cleaning chemicals.
- Completion of at least 2 years of school toward a chemistry degree.
