• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Employment Type: Travel MRI Tech (Locum Tenens)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2320 - $2380
• Shift: Mid Shift, 5x8-Hour Evenings (2:30pm – 11:00pm)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 – End: 12/29/2025)
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend required
• Parking: Free secure garage parking

MRI Tech Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Active Michigan State License (must be valid by start date)
• ARRT (R) Certification required
• BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• EPIC charting experience preferred (training provided during orientation)
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center or community hospital settings preferred
• Ability to provide MRI imaging services for all patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Proficient in IV starts and contrast administration
• Experience with PACS and GE MRI scanners

Primary Responsibilities – MRI Technologist

• Perform a comprehensive range of MRI procedures, including MSK, Neuro, Body, Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, CINE, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, and more
• Utilize advanced MRI imaging techniques: Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and trauma settings
• Ensure accurate documentation and charting using EPIC EMR
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment
• No floating or on-call shifts required
