Business Development & Community Management Specialist
Location: Livonia, MI (Hybrid – Primarily Work from Home)
Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: This position will begin as a part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week), with a clear path to a full-time leadership position as the company continues to grow.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and relationship-driven professional to join our growing team as a Business Development & Community Management Specialist .
The primary focus of this position is business development and company growth. We are looking for a proven sales professional who enjoys networking, building long-term relationships, generating qualified leads, and helping expand our portfolio of condominium and homeowners associations throughout Southeast Michigan.
In addition to business development responsibilities, you will support the management of condominium and HOA communities by working closely with our management team to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Our office is located in Livonia, Michigan. Managed communities are generally located within a 45-minute drive.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday through Friday
- Primarily work from home
- Flexible schedule
- Occasional daytime community site visits
- Occasional early evening Board meetings
- Local travel within approximately 45 minutes of Livonia
Compensation & Incentives
- $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience
- Paid bi-weekly
- Mileage reimbursement

For every new association management contract signed as a direct result of your business development efforts, you will receive an additional performance bonus.

Primary Responsibilities
Business Development (Primary Focus)
- Generate new condominium and HOA management opportunities
- Build relationships with Board Members, developers, Realtors®, attorneys, vendors, and industry professionals
- Develop qualified referral sources and strategic partnerships
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective association clients
- Follow up with prospective clients and referral partners
- Assist with proposals, presentations, and management agreements
- Represent the company professionally at networking events and client meetings
- Help convert qualified prospects into long-term management clients
Community Management Support
- Assist with the day-to-day management of condominium and HOA communities
- Communicate professionally with Board Members, homeowners, and vendors
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services
- Conduct community inspections
- Prepare Board meeting materials and management reports
- Attend Board and Annual Meetings as needed
- Assist with onboarding newly acquired communities
- Maintain organized records and management software
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales, business development, account management, or client relationship management experience
- Demonstrated success developing new business and building long-term professional relationships
- Outstanding communication, networking, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Personal laptop
- Must reside within approximately 45 minutes of Livonia, Michigan
Strongly Preferred
- Minimum 5 years of condominium and/or HOA community management experience
- Experience working directly with HOA Boards of Directors and homeowners
- Experience using community association management software
- Experience using Follow Up Boss CRM
- Michigan real estate license
- Existing professional network within the HOA, condominium, real estate, construction, legal, or property management industries
