Business Loan Processor, Full Time, Alpena

Role Overview
As a Lending Specialist III, you'll be responsible for managing business loan files from start to finish — processing paperwork, working with team members, and helping our business members get the funding they need. No two days are the same, so if you like variety, problem-solving, and a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit all loan files to underwriting, including the ordering of all 3 rd party reports
- Work with all parties to gain the clear to close from underwriting and set the closings
- Review member financials and help resolve loan-related issues
- Enter tax return and financial data into our system
- Maintain real estate property records and stay current on policies
- Respond to business member inquiries and service tickets
- Support loan growth goals and help promote other credit union services
- Rearrange priorities quickly when urgent requests come in
- Communicate with members, realtors, title companies, and team members

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of mortgage and or business lending experience
- Associate's degree or higher in business, finance, or related field
- Valid driver's license required
- Licensed through Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
