Warehouse Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies and stockouts.
• Develop and optimize warehouse layouts and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure it is in good working order, scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Analyze warehouse performance data and implement improvements to reduce costs and enhance service levels.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience with inventory management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and warehouse optimization techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• - Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD)
• - Proficiency in Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation or advanced configuration
• - Experience managing hazardous materials storage and handling compliance
