Production Associate

The Production Associate will work in a manufacturing facility. This role involves performing final inspections at the end of the machine line. Parts are processed and drilled to specification by the machine, and the Production Associate is responsible for inspecting each part for any flash, scratches, dents, or chips. The role includes spot checks using micrometers and calipers to ensure quality. Once inspected and approved, parts are prepared for delivery, and a hi-lo driver will transport filled and labeled boxes. The position requires the inspection and loading of 25-30 parts per hour.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a production or machine operator role.
• Strong job tenure with no terminations from previous positions.
• Ability to adhere to attendance policies, with no more than 3 missed days in the first 90 days.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of blueprint reading experience.
• 1+ year in the automotive industry or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working off shifts (2nd or 3rd).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jackson, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.13/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
