2026 Purchasing Summer Internship

The objective of the Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive is to select students with high potential and provide them with "real world" work experiences. Work assignments expose students to many of the company's products, processes and procedures. Assignments are designed to assimilate acquired classroom education with actual hands-on work experience in a technical environment. In addition, Nexteer Automotive gains the opportunity to find new talent to enhance productivity while providing students exposure to full-time career opportunities.

This position will allow the intern to Support and complete the short-term tasks and assignments within GSM Corporate. In this position, the Student will have the opportunity to work with upper-level management, global teams and enhance their leadership skills. The Intern may be asked to complete other miscellaneous tasks as they arise.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Optimize and improve Power BI reports after collecting the expectations from each regional team.

• Develop the global standard templates, including initiative summary, project timing plan, one page summary for top project, etc.

• Support the global commercial training course development.

• Utilize the AI tools in any CIP management field.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Business or Computer Science

• Candidate must be proficient in Power BI, project management, etc.

• Candidate must have good communication skills across multiple global teams

• Candidate must understand AI Applications

• Must have cumulative 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale
