Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
About the Role:
A Michigan school district is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support K12 students. This position can be full-time or part-time, depending on candidate availability. The role includes conducting evaluations, collaborating with school teams, and providing direct and indirect support to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments.
Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, actionable reports for IEP teams and families.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding behavioral, social-emotional, and academic interventions.
Assist in crisis response and support positive behavioral interventions when needed.
Support data-driven decision-making for student interventions and accommodations.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology.
Active Michigan School Psychologist license.
Prior experience in school-based settings required.
Strong assessment, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
