Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability, testability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop, optimize, and document new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling required for NPI.
• Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Manage and execute pilot production runs, validate manufacturing processes, and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Provide technical support and training to production teams during the NPI phase and transition to mass production.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues, root cause failures, and implement corrective actions during product launches.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial).
• 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., assembly, machining, electronics, plastics).
• Experience managing NPI projects, including process validation, tooling, and production ramp-up.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• PMP or other recognized project management certification.
• Experience with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau).
• Proficiency in automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
