Salary Range: $82,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and certifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, procurement) and suppliers to drive continuous improvement in product quality.
• Manage incoming material inspection and testing processes to verify conformity to specifications.
• Establish and maintain supplier quality agreements and specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, audits, and corrective action implementation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Experience with supplier development, performance monitoring, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Six Sigma.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and methodologies.
• - Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing.
• - Familiarity with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
• - Experience in supplier auditing and development programs.
• - Proficiency in CAD software for design reviews and tolerance analysis.
