Compensation

• Hourly Pay Rate: $53 - $69 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,910 - $1,960

ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Rochester, MI 48307 (Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (locum tenens)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 7:00pm – 7:30am (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36 (3x12 hour shifts)
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; must be available for at least one holiday; up to 1 week of requested time off (RTO) allowed
• Patient Ratio: 2:1 (ICU standard)

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan (MI Registered Nurse license required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with Cerner EMR (electronic medical records)
• Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• BSN preferred

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
• Lead and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Delegate, supervise, and document care for patients and families
• Communicate critical patient information to the healthcare team
• Collaborate to resolve variances from patient care goals and implement solutions
• Perform a wide range of professional nursing services as required in the ICU
