Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Call Center)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support customers in a fast-paced call center environment. This role is responsible for handling primarily inbound calls, as well as occasional outbound follow-up calls, while delivering accurate information and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to efficiently navigate multiple systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls, with some outbound follow-up calls as needed
  • Respond to inquiries related to prior authorizations, general account questions, and confidential information
  • Accurately enter and document customer information across multiple systems
  • Provide professional, empathetic, and solution-focused customer service
  • Maintain compliance with confidentiality and data protection requirements
  • Manage 50–100 calls per day, depending on call complexity
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics for quality, accuracy, and productivity

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent call center experience
  • At least 1 year of tenure in previous roles
  • High-volume call center experience within the last 2–3 years
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
  • Strong computer knowledge and technical skills

Candidate Requirements

  • Stable work history (no frequent job changes; “jumpy” resumes will not be considered)
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment

Required Assessments (IKM)

  • Typing Test – One Space Version (1 minute): Minimum 30 WPM
  • Call Center – Telephone Skills Assessment: Minimum score of 75%

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
