The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Continuous Improvement Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI projects from conception to completion.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees at all levels on CI principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Identify and analyze process inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks using data-driven approaches.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and impact of CI efforts.
• Drive cultural transformation to embed a continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization.
• Standardize best practices and ensure their consistent application across various manufacturing lines or sites.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to solve complex operational problems and implement sustainable solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Certifications and demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex CI projects from conception to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis, root cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Certification in a recognized change management methodology (e.g., PROSCI).
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing Theory of Constraints (TOC) principles.
