Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to EHS standards.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and testing of emergency response plans.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, and communicate results to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS performance and foster a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific/technical field.
• Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant state-specific EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with a track record of fostering a proactive safety culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting.
• Expertise in process safety management (PSM) or advanced machinery guarding.
