Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor key quality metrics using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
• Manage supplier quality, including audits, material qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system standards.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and drive resolution.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in core quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with specific industry regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Familiarity with CAD software for design review and GD&T interpretation.
• Prior experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
