Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A fully credentialed Occupational Therapist (OT) is sought to provide essential services to students at an elementary school in Ypsilanti, MI. This full-time (1.0 FTE) travel position offers an opportunity to apply specialized skills including school-based OT, home health OT, teletherapy, and healthcare OT, contributing to the developmental and functional progress of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services tailored to students individual needs
- Utilize expertise in fine motor and gross motor skills development
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide teletherapy services when applicable to increase accessibility
Qualifications:
- Fully credentialed Occupational Therapist with valid licensure
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Proficiency in home health, healthcare, and teletherapy OT is an advantage
- Skilled in evaluating and improving fine and gross motor skills in children
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Location:This role is based in Ypsilanti, MI, and involves travel to various school settings within the community.
