Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on high-speed cold forming / cold heading equipment, thread rolling machines, transfer systems, tooling, conveyors, and auxiliary production machinery to minimize downtime and support continuous production goals. This role also includes basic facility maintenance and strong adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly) on cold heading machines, heading presses, thread rollers, pointing machines, sorting equipment, and supporting systems (lubrication, pneumatics, hydraulics).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues on production equipment to quickly restore operation and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose equipment problems by observing mechanical device operation, listening for issues, using precision measuring tools, and reading technical manuals / schematics.
• Install, align, and set up new or refurbished equipment, tooling, and dies as needed for production changeovers.
• Lubricate machinery, change filters, inspect/replace worn components (bearings, seals, belts, fasteners), and maintain proper oil/grease levels in gearboxes and heading systems.
• Fabricate or modify simple parts using shop equipment (lathe, mill, welder, drill press) when OEM parts are unavailable or lead times are long.
