We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We are seeking a Communications Coordinator. The Communications Coordinator supports Network180’s communications, outreach, and community engagement efforts by assisting with implementing engagement and communication activities that increase awareness of services, reduce stigma, and support positive community relationships.
This role focuses on content coordination, community outreach support, stakeholder communication, and customer experience initiatives. The Communications Coordinator works closely with the Communications Director and team members to execute communication strategies, manage materials, support events, and ensure information about Network180 services is clear, accurate, and accessible
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are also occasional evening and weekend requirements. This assignment is primarily remote with regular travel within Kent County.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Services, or related field; or associate’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience.
· Relevant experience (internship, volunteer, or professional).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Social media and digital content creation skills.
· Ability to build relationships with diverse communities.
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other web platforms.
· Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
· Ability to adhere to Network180 policies resulting from the HIPAA privacy rules regarding individually identifiable health information concerning individuals served or employed by Network180.
PREFERRED:
· Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, behavioral health, or public sector.
· Experience supporting events, outreach, or community engagement.
· Knowledge of community mental health systems.
· Experience with photography.
· Experience with creative software, such as Canva.
· Lived experience valued.
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
