Shift Type: PRN - 4 days a month with 1 day as a weekend day (either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) minimum

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform all computerized tomography scanning procedures with precision and care
• Set up, monitor, and operate complex CT equipment for accurate diagnostic imaging
• Position patients safely using proper lifting techniques and immobilization devices
• Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously following radiologist protocols
• Capture and store high-quality digital images for permanent patient records
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond appropriately during emergencies
• Maintain equipment quality through daily calibration and quality control procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists during specialized radiological procedures
• Ensure radiation safety standards are met for both patients and staff

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CT experience required
• Phillips CT equipment experience required
• Current Michigan state license verification needed
• Traveler experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the last year preferred
• Registry maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging procedures and protocols
• Phillips equipment operation
• Patient positioning and safety techniques
• Contrast media administration
• Digital image capture and storage
• Emergency response including basic CPR
• Quality control and equipment maintenance
• Radiation safety standards
