Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This onsite opportunity allows you to make a real impact during both the Extended School Year (ESY) and Normal School Year (NSY), working alongside educators and families to empower students' growth and well-being.

ESY runs from June 30, 2026, to August 6, 2026, with up to 25 hours per week, followed by the regular school year from August 17, 2026, to June 11, 2027, at up to 35 hours per week. This is a fully onsite role serving students across all grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Michigan School Social Worker certification (310) required; please submit a copy with your application.
• Experience supporting K-12 students, preferably in a school or special education setting.
• Ability to collaborate closely in a team environment with teachers, therapists, and family members.
• For candidates without current certification, established supervision arrangements must be in place before interviewing.
• Strong communication, advocacy, and organization skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and provide direct support to K-12 students.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to support individualized education goals.
• Offer counseling and consultation to students, families, and staff.
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district guidelines and state standards.
