Job Description:

The Material Manager is responsible for ensuring that all customer-related requests relating to order management are effectively scheduled for production to ensure correct customer order deliveries for the correct amounts at the correct time.

Roles and Responsibilities

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

· Reviews customer & supplier requirements to support required shipment plans

· Primary contact Assembly & Molding production teams in maintaining and adjusting schedules

· Primary contact for Intercompany PO management (releases, shipping)

· Primary contact with assigned supplier accounts

· Reconciliation of up-to-date supplier shipping cumulatives

· Reconciliation of job completion in support of running schedule

· Working with Master Schedulers & Customer Material Analysts on internal build plans to support customer requirements

· Assisting in and creating long-range customer & supplier support plans

· Managing balance out demand with assigned customers

· Supplier invoicing payment issue investigation

· Primary backup for MP&L Manager

· Any additional tasks assigned by supervisor / manager

Skill and Education requirements:

· Experience in automotive manufacturing and/or supply chain related background

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Proficiency in AIAG OEM PPAP requirements and Customer-Specific Requirements

· Hands-on working knowledge of OEM portals

· Ability to drive cross-functional team reviews of core documents, including those involving the supply base

· Global Logistics Cert- APICS Preferred

· ADP Experience Preferred

· IQMS Experience Preferred

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat.

Authority:

Authorized to take necessary actions to ensure that quality parts are produced and delivered to customers in accordance with all applicable requirements.
