We are seeking an experienced manufacturing Supervisor for a 1st shift position in Tecumseh, MI. This role oversees daily operations to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and a safe work environment.

Supervisor Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $28.85 to $36.06 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Plan, organize, and manage daily plant operations to meet production and quality targets.
• Lead, train, and develop and production teams to promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with purchasing and logistics.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to maintain product integrity and meet customer specifications.
• Develop and manage plant budgets, controlling operational costs and resources effectively.
• Maintain open communication with management and other departments regarding plant performance and issues.
• Be available and flexible to support operations across all three shifts when needed.

Supervisor Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics, extrusion, or related industries.
• Proven leadership managing production teams in a multi-shift environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production planning.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dedicated to safety and continuous improvement.
