Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including wage scales, shift differentials, and performance-based incentives.
• Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives, focusing on safety, technical skills, and leadership.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans for all staff.
• Drive initiatives for employee engagement, retention, and a positive plant culture.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, with practical experience in labor relations and compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise across core HR functions (talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation).
• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support operational efficiency and safety programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for a dynamic industrial environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local production workforce.
• Demonstrated experience with HRIS implementation or optimization in a manufacturing setting.
• Certification in a relevant safety discipline (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, CSP).
