Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs.
• Develop and implement material planning strategies, including forecasting and scheduling.
• Oversee inbound logistics and warehousing operations for efficient material flow and storage.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and foster strong relationships.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems and processes, often utilizing ERP/MRP.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material management practices and cost reduction.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the materials planning and logistics team.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory, planning, and production control.
• Proven ability to optimize inventory levels, manage demand forecasting, and implement effective inventory control strategies.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with specific ERP module implementation or optimization (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM).
