What You'll Do

As the Reconstruction Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple restoration and reconstruction projects while ensuring quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Essential Job Duties

• Manage reconstruction projects from estimate through final completion
• Develop project schedules and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Perform site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams
• Review scopes of work and prepare estimates, change orders, and project documentation
• Maintain project budgets and monitor costs to achieve profitability goals
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries
• Resolve project issues quickly while maintaining excellent customer service
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations
• Complete project documentation, job files, and closeout paperwork accurately

Essential Functions

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Read and interpret construction plans, estimates, and contracts
• Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors
• Conduct detailed property inspections
• Build and maintain positive client relationships
• Make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and navigate active construction sites
• Work both in the office and in the field throughout Southeast Michigan

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in reconstruction, restoration, residential remodeling, or commercial construction
• Experience working with insurance restoration projects preferred
• Knowledge of estimating software (Xactimate experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
• Valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology
