APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Macomb, MI looking to add a Molding Material Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to prepare and handle materials to keep production running smoothly. Keep reading for more details!

What’s in it for you:

• 2nd shift opportunity – Monday to Friday from 2:45pm-11:15pm; must be available to OT either before or after shift
  • Must be available to train on 1st shift – 6:45am to 3:15pm
• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $18-$20/hr.+ shift premium depending on experience

What your day will look like:

• Fill hoppers and dryers with the appropriate materials to ensure continuous production.
• Empty grinders regularly to maintain efficient operation.
• Pre-dry materials in preparation for upcoming production runs.
• Clean material loaders thoroughly during mold changes to prevent contamination and maintain quality.
• Additional duties as requested

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience as a machine operator; plastics preferred
• Understanding of engineered resins
• Experience with hoppers, loaders, and dryers
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
