Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Saint Johns, MI, offering a contract position from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). This role focuses on supporting students with moderate to significant cognitive impairments, multiple impairments, and autism within a self-contained building.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with educators and families, and documenting progress to meet students unique communication needs. The ideal candidate is experienced working in schools, healthcare, or pediatric settings and is comfortable providing services to diverse learners in a school environment. Candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and be eligible for or currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certified or licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credential
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy
- Strong skills in supporting students with autism and multiple impairments
- Ability to work within a self-contained classroom setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and school staff
- Completion or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
