Salary Range: $48,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Load, adjust, and optimize NC programs for precise EDM operations.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or process deviations.
• Interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on EDM machines and related tooling.
• Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and material usage.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up Wire and/or Sinker EDM machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code programs.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) for in-process inspection.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance, identify issues, and troubleshoot EDM equipment.
• Basic understanding of EDM principles, electrode design, and material properties for optimal machining.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise components.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with other precision CNC machining methods (e.g., milling, turning).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for programming or fixture design.
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with advanced metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
