Job Description
Perform hands-on operation and maintenance of Data Center Equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, building automation and control systems, emergency generators, and fire/life/safety
Control Data Center Environment to meet precise standards for temperature, humidity and pressure
Monitor, manage and maintain uninterruptable power source, batteries and generators to ensure uninterrupted service
Conduct Data Center inspection rounds to collect readings and maintain logs and documentation related to equipment
Observe outside service providers performing work within the critical environment and report hazardous materials, unsafe work practices or general non-compliance with critical facility policy
Complete periodic maintenance (PM) tasks and document activities
Clean and maintain safe computer and critical equipment rooms
Responsibilities
React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate. Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Responsible for support documentation as well.
Ability to climb ladders, walk long distances in large complexes, safely and properly lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to obtain government security clearance or certification (i.e., DOD or VA)
Ability to work outdoors, in mechanical rooms and computer environments
Operate company vehicles, radios or assigned equipment
Willing to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends and holidays, as required
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned

US: Hiring Range in USD from $27.07 to $54.13 per hour; from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
