Job Description

This position is responsible for safely and effectively ensuring that our manufactured products, whether made on-site or off-site, are packaged in appropriately sized containers. Individuals in this role will need to complete any pre- and post-work required for packaging our products. They will examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging specifications are met, and label containers and other products. Operators will transfer products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment, clean containers, materials, supplies, and their work area, and rotate between different positions along the packaging line.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are packaged in appropriate containers.
• Complete pre- and post-packaging tasks.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products for specification compliance.
• Label containers and products accurately.
• Transfer products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, and work area.
• Rotate between different positions along the packaging line.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a production line or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in packing and packaging processes.
• Ability to conduct inspections and document verification.
• Experience in material handling and labeling.
• General production skills in pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, fermentation, biomedical, and chemical industries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ years of production line/manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year of experience in related fields (Chemical, Pharma, Fermentation, Food, or Bio Tech).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Kalamazoo,MI.
