Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Design, implement, and qualify tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype to full production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Create and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve yields, and enhance product quality.
• Perform equipment selection, justification, and installation for production lines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including process development and optimization.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture design, tooling, and process layout.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with automation, robotics, or PLC programming.
• Proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM software for tooling and fixture design.
• Demonstrated experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analytics tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
