The Role
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Service Advisor to join our team and provide exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to understand their service needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure a smooth service experience. If you're passionate about customer service, enjoy problem-solving, and have a knack for building relationships, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do
- Customer Interaction: Greet and engage customers in the service department, understand their vehicle concerns, and assist them in scheduling and coordinating services.
- Service Knowledge: Provide customers with detailed information about vehicle maintenance, repair services, and recommended service schedules, ensuring they make informed decisions.
- Service Process: Guide customers through the service process, from the initial check-in to explaining the work completed, ensuring their satisfaction with every step.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate lasting relationships with customers through excellent service, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Meet Service Goals: Work towards individual and team service goals, ensuring timely, efficient, and accurate service delivery.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the service team, technicians, and management to meet customer needs, ensuring quality service and timely delivery.
Follow Up: Maintain communication with customers, following up on completed services, upcoming maintenance, and future service needs to maintain strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience
- Previous experience as a service advisor, customer service representative, or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience in building relationships and resolving customer concerns.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical vehicle information to customers.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of automotive services, repairs, and maintenance is a plus.
