Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled HR Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
• Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures across multiple shifts.
• Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll, including shift differentials and overtime calculations.
• Identify and coordinate training and development programs, focusing on safety, skills enhancement, and leadership development.
• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and performance improvement plans for manufacturing staff.
• Collaborate with EHS to foster a strong safety culture and manage workplace injury reporting and return-to-work programs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in HR management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for a production workforce.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma awareness.
• Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish).
• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
