Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, ensuring awareness and competency.
• Oversee hazardous waste management, environmental permits, and pollution prevention initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through data analysis, goal setting, and strategic planning.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, internal stakeholders, and external vendors on EHS matters.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills with a focus on driving EHS culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Gensuite).
• Demonstrated experience integrating sustainability initiatives into EHS programs.
