Requirements

MyMichigan Obstetrics & Gynecology in Alpena, Michigan is looking to add a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to an established and respected team. The current group consists of three physicians and one office based nurse practitioner. The team of physicians has a blended model where two focus on gynecologic care in the outpatient setting while still providing some support to the labor and delivery unit with one practicing as a traditional OB/GYN. The call expectation of this role will be on average 1:3, providing opportunity for deliveries and surgical care, yet still providing a great work/life balance. MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena invested in a brand new inpatient tower in that has a family focused maternity center. The outpatient clinic is on the hospital campus and is staffed with a dedicated supervisor and experienced clinical and clerical teams. This established team is very well respected in the area with a solid referral base from employed, partner, and independent primary care providers in the community.
