Procurement Director - Indirect

Lead our indirect procurement and procurement operations strategy to maximize value, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. Oversee the teams managing Indirect purchases and operations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for indirect procurement to maximize operational efficiency and cost savings
• Partner with senior leaders to align procurement strategies with long-term business objectives
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness and team performance
• Oversee the development and execution of all indirect procurement strategies
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing processes.
• Serve as an escalation point for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct market assessments to identify innovative solutions, cost trends, and emerging technologies
• Drive negotiations to secure favorable terms, mitigate risks, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with top-tier suppliers and manufacturers
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on procurement needs and priorities
• Provide detailed reporting and insights to senior leadership on procurement performance and spend management

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field of study, MBA preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Ten (10) years of procurement experience, with experience in a leadership role managing indirect purchases
• Deep understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, ROI analysis, and total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance standards, and sustainability practices
• Expertise negotiating large-scale contracts to secure favorable terms, mitigate risks, and drive cost savings
• Established relationships with industry suppliers
• Demonstrated success in overseeing large procurement budgets and leading high-impact teams
• Leadership and team-building abilities
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally
• Valid driver’s license and passport
