Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit skilled trades, production, engineering, and supervisory personnel.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess technical aptitude and cultural fit within manufacturing operations.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a high volume of manufacturing roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Develop and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
• Utilize a variety of sourcing channels including industry-specific platforms and vocational partnerships.
• Negotiate competitive offers and facilitate a smooth onboarding transition for new hires.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades positions.
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates in technical manufacturing fields.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, operational roles, and industry-specific terminology.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, particularly for technical and production roles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to partner effectively with hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes, skilled trades, or technical roles.
• Experience recruiting for unionized or highly regulated industrial environments.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency with manufacturing-centric HRIS/ATS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
