Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics).
• Program, configure, and commission industrial control systems and robotic applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues with automated manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Optimize existing automation processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and production throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, engineering) on automation projects and improvements.
• Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and upgrades on automation hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems, programs, and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation) and HMI/SCADA development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and sensor technologies.
• Experience with robotics integration and programming (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB).
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical issues and optimize automated production processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) or machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Proficiency in database integration (SQL, Historian) and data analytics for OEE or predictive maintenance.
• Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity principles and network architecture (e.g., Purdue Model).
• Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) for automation initiatives.
