Maintenance Technician

Our agency is recruiting on behalf of a well-established plastic injection molding company seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician . This full-time, direct hire role is based out of Grand Haven, MI and requires regular travel between their three local facilities in Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Norton Shores .

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety in their work environment and takes pride in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair molding machines, automation systems, robots, and auxiliary equipment
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks
• Install, replace, and adjust mechanical parts and attachments based on production needs
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
• Order parts and manage basic inventory
• Handle general facility repairs (welding, fabrication, painting, plumbing) as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Travel as needed between Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Norton Shores facilities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a plastic injection molding environment
• PLC Experience
• Control Experience
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read technical schematics and use hand/power tools effectively
• Functional computer knowledge for logs and work orders
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel

Job Details:

• Pay Rate: $30/hour
• Shift: Full-time (7:00 AM - 3:20 PM)
• Schedule: Monday- Friday
• Location: Travel required between Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Norton Shores
