Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Project Estimator, you will work with Project Managers, Engineering, and external electrical contractors to accurately bid on new electrical work. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the end-to-end quotation process – including scoping requests, estimating costs, sending proposals, tracking responses, and following up with customers. 

• Monitor and assist in optimizing the estimating workflow, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing efficient processes. 

• Maintain organized records of quotes, bid documents, and relevant correspondence. 

• Address any changes or revisions required during the estimating process and ensure that updates are accurately and promptly communicated. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors to promote sales growth. 

• Hand won jobs over to Project Managers. 

• Contribute to the overall success of Team UIS by performing additional duties as needed. 

Qualifications, Experience, and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field - preferred.

• 2+ years of relevant electrical estimating experience.

• Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams and project specifications.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (OneDrive) - HubSpot & BlueBeam familiarity is an added bonus.

• Familiarity with bidding sites preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Robust relationship building skills with both internal and external customers.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
