Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for IT hardware, software, and network issues across office and shop floor environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing specific applications, production line PCs, scanners, and label printers.
• Log, prioritize, and manage support tickets using the IT service management system, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Perform setup, installation, configuration, and basic maintenance of workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring critical manufacturing IT systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Create and update knowledge base articles and documentation for common IT issues and resolutions, particularly those impacting production.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff and vendors to resolve complex technical problems impacting manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, hardware, and common business applications.
• Basic understanding of network connectivity, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting shop floor technology such as barcode scanners, label printers, or production terminals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with an ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Ability to prioritize and resolve issues quickly to minimize production downtime in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial hardware (e.g., barcode scanners, label printers, PLCs).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on IT support.
• Ability to work effectively in a production or shop floor environment.
