Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process: assess care needs, develop a plan of care with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassess as needs change
- Provide and coordinate nursing care to individuals and groups in collaboration with the physician; deliver care across clinical settings
- Educate persons served and families; support milieu management and discharge/aftercare planning
- Create a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff; document, report, and verify information according to policies
- Monitor for safety risks and communicate with the physician to prevent adverse outcomes
- Serve as a clinical leader: delegate and coordinate staff assignments, promote staff development, and support adherence to standards of care and quality improvement
- Support program operations by contributing to care protocols, optimizing resource use, and participating in ongoing training

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health experience
- Ability to work in inpatient and residential behavioral health settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care skills
