Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for mid-sized commercial electrical projects
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to develop precise cost estimates
- Work closely with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure accurate pricing and project feasibility
- Identify project risks and provide value engineering solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material costs, labor rates, and industry trends
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Assist in bid proposals, contract negotiations, and pre-construction planning
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating, specifically for commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Vision Infosoft Estimating Software is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
