Customer Service Representative | Independent Truck Upfitters | Roseville, MI

What you’ll do:

As the Customer Service Representative for Independent Truck Upfitters (An Aebi Schmidt Brand) you will support the team with various customer service responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly, accurately and professionally to customer inquires
• Order parts using on - line parts manuals, engineering prints, and photographs
• Expedite and follow-up on customer orders
• Coordinate with buyer for special part purchases
• Prepare parts sales quotes
• Process warranty claims, setup warranty codes and determine appropriate code for the claim
• Deny inappropriate warranty claims
• Locate appropriate service center and coordinate repair of truck
• Communicate issue to Technical Engineering support for solution
• Determine and enter vendor chargeback
• Negotiate and reduce invoices
• Support NHTSA recalls by sending out appropriate parts
• Communicate warranty concerns to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales
• Support monthly warranty meetings with Manufacturing to communicate top warranty issues

What you need to be successful:

• HS Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred)
• Strong customer service skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with MS Office applications
