About This Opportunity

MillerKnoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Product Engineering Data Analyst - Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world product data analysis projects in a collaborative and innovative environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about data analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

  • Gather data from various platforms and databases
  • Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation to product data sets
  • Identify trends and insights regarding our product data accuracy and quality
  • Visualize data patterns and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and visual tools to present insights
  • Contribute to exploring new methodologies and innovative approaches in data quality analysis
  • Work with engineers to explore the application of machine learning and predictive modeling in the support of accelerating new product data setup activities


What You Bring

The needed skills and experience for this role include...

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of relational database management systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with data analysis concepts (ie. EDA)
  • Basic understand of product data (attributes, bills of material, routings)
  • Experience with SQL query language
  • Experience with 1 or more data analysis techniques (Python, R, Alteryx)
  • Experience with Agile development practices and project management techniques


Education

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program

  • Must be authorized to work in the US and will not require sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations
