• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Unit: LDRPN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Nursery)
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 11, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour rotating night shifts, every other weekend required)
• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• At least 1 year of experience with Cerner EMR
• Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care nursing
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Special Care units
• Apply the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for families
• Communicate essential patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Participate in clinical problem-solving and implement solutions for patient care variances
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
