Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Manage and maintain quality documentation, including specifications, inspection records, and control plans.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the development cycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• 3-5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with core quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys)
• Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data using statistical methods and software (e.g., Minitab)

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
• Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
• Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100)
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analysis
• Demonstrated experience leading Lean or Six Sigma improvement projects
