Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM.
• Document inspection results accurately in quality control reports and databases.
• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials and products.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment according to established schedules.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection roles.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced GD&T certification or extensive knowledge
• Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology software setup
• Demonstrated understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Experience performing calibration on measurement equipment
